Join us for a fun-filled day of hands-on activities! Harrisburg University invites high school students to engage in exciting conversations and investigations and get a taste of HU’s STEM-focused undergraduate programs. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to explore the possibilities of a science career in a dynamic, real-world setting and chance to interact with collegiate students and faculty.

“During this immersive event, participants will be introduced to a case scenario that sets the stage for their investigation,” said Dr. Jill Yeakel, Program Lead for Forensics at Harrisburg University. “Students will enter a realistic mock crime scene where they’ll search for clues, identify and collect critical evidence, and begin piecing together the puzzle. Once the evidence is secured, the journey continues in the forensic laboratory. Here, they’ll explore a variety of forensic disciplines, such as bloodstain pattern analysis, fingerprint identification, and trace evidence examination, to analyze their findings and uncover the truth behind the crime.”

Come and hear how Harrisburg University is a great way to start off your career in forensics, anthropology, crime scene investigation, and more. HU graduates have gone on to serve with distinction at the Dauphin County Coroner’s Office and Criminal Investigation Division; the Harrisburg Bureau of Police; the Washington, DC, Crime Lab; and other employers of first choice. Harrisburg University strives to graduate each student with no or extremely limited student debt. To learn more about HU’s demand-driven, STEM-focused degrees, including the Bachelor of Science in Forensics, visit HarrisburgU.edu or start a conversation with the Admissions Team today.
